Privacy Policy for Celbrate
Last updated: August 4, 2026
Martin Lédl built the Celbrate app. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app or test a beta version through Apple TestFlight.
1. Data Stored on Your Device
Celbrate can access your contacts only after you grant permission. Information that you import or add, such as names and important dates, as well as your app preferences, is stored locally on your device. It is used to show upcoming events, widgets, and notifications.
You can revoke contact access at any time in the iOS Settings app. Data stored by Celbrate may also be included in device backups managed by Apple, depending on your device and iCloud backup settings.
2. Data Collection by Celbrate
Celbrate does not collect or transmit your contacts, important dates, app activity, or other personal information to me or to my servers. The app does not contain third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.
3. TestFlight Beta Testing
TestFlight is an Apple service used to distribute beta versions of Celbrate. When you use a TestFlight build, Apple automatically collects crash logs and usage information and shares them with me as the application provider. Depending on how you joined the beta, this information may include your name and email address, device model and identifier, operating system version, language, session counts, and crash information. Feedback, screenshots, and comments are shared only when you choose to submit them.
I use TestFlight information only to diagnose problems and improve Celbrate, and I do not share it with third parties. Apple controls the collection and retention of this information. You can read more in Apple's TestFlight & Privacy notice ↗.
4. Apple Diagnostics
For the public App Store version, Apple may provide crash and diagnostic reports from users who have chosen to share analytics with Apple. Celbrate does not create or transmit these reports itself. Any information Apple collects is handled under Apple's privacy policy and the user's device settings.
5. In-App Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. I do not receive or store your payment-card or billing details. Apple handles purchase information under its own privacy policy.
6. Security and Deletion
Your Celbrate data is protected by the security features of your device. You can remove data within the app or delete the app and its locally stored data from your device. Data contained in an Apple-managed backup is governed by your Apple and iCloud settings.
7. Children’s Privacy
Celbrate does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users. TestFlight and App Store services are provided by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and privacy practices.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
I may update this policy if Celbrate's features or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised update date.
